By the combination of its knowledge and experience in the field of process, machinery and maintenance, Sime develops improving solutions for operating plants, with the objective to increase one or more parameters of systems lifecycle (typically their productivity, reliability, safety, regulatory updates and compliance etc). Such solutions are characterized by a high degree of innovation (Sime also develops product and processes subject to international patents) and with considerable technological content. Our solutions often come in the form of small packages,easy to be integrated in the existing installations, with low investment cost and short payback times. Solutions are always optimized and tailored to meet the specific needs of each plant and Sime, after the installation and start up, remains at the Customer's disposal for any further development or upgrade. Sime can carry out procurement and construction management activities in two ways: on behalf of its customer, preferably on projects (or parts of a project) that require high investments; otherwise on its own, when the supply consists of one of Sime's packaged turnkey solutions, whose investment levels are normally lower than 5,000,000 €. It must be pointed out that Sime does not possess its own production and fabrication facilities, but can provide a supply through the management of selected manufacturing partners or other productive sites indicated by Customers.
