Offshore & Floaters: Sime has carried out several offshore and floaters projects providing Clients mainly Topside Multi-disciplinary engineering services from Process to detail engineering.
Sime can provide 3D Design, including also 3D laser scanning service, using the most common 3D modeling systems available on the market.
Compression and Pumping Station: thanks to a mix of machinery and plant engineering, Sime has been involved in the selection and definition of compression and pumping stations.
Refinery: Sime provide a wide range of engineering services in the refinery field, starting from feasibility studies to detail engineering.
In addition, Sime supplies maintenance engineering to the production site, also creating dedicated task force located close to Clients.
Petrochemicals and Chemicals: Sime has carried out project of detail design and maintenance engineering in several plants. In addition, through Process department, Sime provide Feasibility, Basic and FEED engineering service.
Power Plants: with its strong expertise in machinery and electrical fields, Sime provides engineering services for Power Generation, MV/LV Substations, MV/LV Power Distributions. In addition, Sime has been involved for HV Substations revamping, Selectivity studies, Motor Starting analysis and Reverse engineering for Obsolete System.

For the mono-discipline Projects, management activity is usually demanded to the Technical Manager of the concerned discipline.
Field Engineering Activities, Sime can provide Supervision Site Service, Field Engineering Services (Construction Management, Technical Due Diligence, Erection assistance at site, etc…) and Works Management.
Brown Field’s Engineering, Sime can provide support in Brown Field activities starting from site assessment survey, Laser Scanning approach, Assessment report, 3D model creation/update.
