Main objective for an engineering company designing a new off-shore platform or onshore plant is to find the solutions for compact and reliable unit to be installed in order to reduce space occupancy and investment cost maintaining safety and operability of the units.

The use of a complete internally partitioned column (T.I.P.C.) for the sweetening and dehydration of the platform produced gas is an important answer to the above objective.
