HA, HB and OA models of reciprocating compressors
GI&E, part of Sime Group of Companies, and Baker Hughes signed a License and Channel Partner Agreement for HA, HB and OA models of reciprocating compressors. These small, well referenced and versatile compressors are an optimal choice for industrial and O&G hydrogen applications. The agreement is aiming to address the H2 market in a cost effective manner combining the knowledge and flexibility of GI&E with the well-known Baker Hughes compressors strength.
GI&E is going to leverage Baker Hughes compressors knowhow to manufacture, package and test in Porto Recanati (Italy), in accordance with latest original equipment manufacturer design, specifications and quality assurance procedures. Baker Hughes will continue to serve the installed fleet thanks to their own aftermarket network and expertise.
GI&E collaborates with Baker Hughes already for 40 years and this additional agreement is strengthening the relationship, providing to the H2 market competitive and flexible solutions with lower TCO for reciprocating compressor technologies.
